But yet the person posting the filth is still active. Why is this place so stupid.|||Since suspensions generally don't include the specific reason WHY you were suspended, you can't be certain that was the reason it happened to you. However, more to the point, over-reporting can trigger a review of your own account -- and that may cause a suspension for a variety of reasons. It is recommended that if you report someone, you do so carefully and with restraint. If the material is not removed after 3-4 reports, you can try emailing a link to the person's profile to the staff, directly, in hopes of getting better results. Their email is y_answrs_team@yahoo.com (missing 'e' is deliberate).
As for their account still being active, YA staff take several different approaches to this. Often they will simply remove the offending material, but leave the account itself active. Other times, they remove the entire account -- but the person will make a new one and begin again. It is an endless loop, unfortunately.|||Does the person you reported know that you reported them? If yes they may have wanted to get revenge and quickly report you too to try to save themselves from getting suspended and get rid of you first.|||You might have not heard, Retired Navy Returns, that reporting a specific member for no reason may result the suspension of your account... Maybe what you consider obscene posts aren't obscene to the Staff. To make sure you are filing reports accurately, I urge you to study the Communty Guidelines.
Many people who have reported me admitted that they were suspended for doing so, because their reports were frequently in error.
