If Yahoo suspend your Answers account can they also suspend your Yahoo email account?

I think my Yahoo Answers account has been suspended but I can't access my email account to find out. Do Yahoo have the power to suspend your Yahoo email account as well?


I use the email account for other stuff so it's important that I'm able to access it.|||Yes, they can (and do) suspend an entire account.





That's a real trap.


With unlimited storage - many people do use their email program for other personal use (in addition to Yahoo things).


They are not fully aware they can lose the lot!|||Rotten and frustrating luck.

|||yes they can|||When your account is deleted it is forever and it is your whole yahoo account (email,IM,etc...). If it was suspended only your Y!A is closed. If you really did not do anything wrong and you can prove it then you can get your account back. Appeal the suspension sometimes you win. To appeal a suspension go to this site and fill out the form.
