Is there a way to suspend your Linkedin account?

hi-- i am trying to make my Linkedin account not visible to ANYBODY! not even "friends". without deleting, is there a way to make it suspended. this is urgent!|||go to your profile and change what ever you like but they will ask you for a pass word
