Why did it take Y!A sooo long to suspend my account?
before i would get suspended every month, i had the other account for about 7 months and finally it got suspended

Oh and I was suspended twice before.

I have been getting spam emails and tried to turn on spam gaurd but it seems to send even more email than ever so I would like to suspend my origenal email for a month or so.|||I don't know that you can do what you want. I believe there is a way to close your account but even if you do that they keep it alive for 90 days, way more than the 30 days you're looking for.

My father is a teacher, and was very disturbed to see the panorama programme, on how some saudi schools teach sharia law in England. In which the cutting of hands and feet, and other executions are taught to young muslim children. Was my father wrong to ask why this is going on, and is he racist, as some of the com-mentors obviously never saw this programme, but were to quick to brand my father a racist, and get his yahoo answers closed.|||Your father had a right to be concerned and to express his concern respectfully and in the form of a question on Y!A.|||On first viewing this question my initial thought was, "how dare yahoo answers do that", but because you haven't shown the question your father posed (I'm guessing it may have not been saved by your father) it's hard to say really, as he may have written it in such a way that Muslims could have been very offended by it. The other thing to take into consideration here is, they may have deleted the question because they were concerned about an 'incident' going out of control, knowing how extremist muslims can react like these days.

Does it depend on how many people report you??? Do they have moderators?? How does it work, I'm curious because I can't last more then 1 month without something happening to my account.|||Well I know that if you get reported too many times in sequence they suspend your account, some kind of algorithm I suppose.

How do you suspend a Facebook account temporarily?
We are going through a nasty custody battle and my fiance's x partner has seen a Faceobok status and used it against me as part of the custody proceeding as it was deemed to be about her. Now I am not alloewed contact with my fiances children at all and he has to choose between me and his children. It depends on the type and severity of the violation. If it is a really bad one, violating the TOS (Terms of Service) rather than just the CG (Community Guidelines), then it can happen with just ONE violation, and totally without warning. For more minor stuff, you can get them here and there, now and then without a problem. Get them hot and heavy, duck -- you're about to get gone.|||last time is only 1.

T-mobile question- I want to temporarily suspend my contract account. How do i go about doing that?
My current job is a bit tight with money and over the christmas period i need all the extra money i can. I know you can do this with T-mobile as i know someone who has done it but apparently they billed him ALOT! You won't get permission to use copyrighted stuff. Not without lots of money.|||Unles you Youtube account was wrongly taken away which you admit it was not, you can not get it back. You uploaded copyright material and received 3 strikes and YT pulled your account.
Make a new one and start over - with a new e-mail address and this time don't upload music or videos that do not belong to you or it will just happen all over again.|||A suspended account will eventually become unsuspended after a few weeks. But if you violate the rules again... you're toast... YouTube will delete your account.
Making money has nothing to do with it. To get permission, contact the copyright holder. You'll probably need a lawyer, a contract and pay royalty fees... that's the way the big boys do it!

Can solicitors suspend your bank account?
On behalf of the local city council their solicitors have threatened to suspend a friends bank account for not paying council tax. Are they actually allowed to do that and how do they know what your details are etc? What process do they go through to get that information if so?|||Its not actually the solicitor who suspends the account the Solicitor writes a request to the bank its up to the bank manager to decide if the request is justified, If not the solicitor will need to get a warrent from a magistrate.
The solicitor can easily find out who you bank with, all he needs to do is a credit search a record of your account history is on there.

I think it depends on your rating what they are for and how many report you.
There is one over here in Blighty that really gets up my nose (I don't even bother reporting her these days) but she is level 7 and it is all minor stuff (repeating the same question, she tried having me suspended but I had answered her question politely and directly but asked why she was repeating the question LOL it was her 5th ask in 5 days) but there is one guy who has got through over 50 accounts, I have them listed so that when I report him I just mention the last 10 or so ? He is just abusive and his account is taken straight off.
So to put this into good Yorkshire vernacular, -Don't worry lass, thou's not going to get suspended 1 violation don't slaht on a top lass like thee-

For minor violations, such as chat violations, you're unlikely to ever be suspended for them--unless you accrue a large number in a very short span of time. There is one over here in Blighty that really gets up my nose (I don't even bother reporting her these days) but she is level 7 and it is all minor stuff (repeating the same question, she tried having me suspended but I had answered her question politely and directly but asked why she was repeating the question LOL it was her 5th ask in 5 days) but there is one guy who has got through over 50 accounts, I have them listed so that when I report him I just mention the last 10 or so ? He is just abusive and his account is taken straight off.
So to put this into good Yorkshire vernacular, -Don't worry lass, thou's not going to get suspended 1 violation don't slaht on a top lass like thee-

As a web hosting provider can I suspend an account for non payment?
I am also the web designer! The client is not only 4 months late for web hosting dues, he's refusing to pay for recent website updates. I feel bad for suspending the site and hope he doesn't do something over the top like try to sue me|||If you are the Provider, then I hope you had the usual Terms of Service in place that explains what happens when you don't pay for your hosting. Does one copyrighted video on youtube suspend your account?
How come some poeple's video's just get the audio deleted, others video removed or sometimes both, will i get suspended for uploading a kanye west song?|||you wont get suspended unless ALL your videos get copyrighted with audio and image. I recommend you don't upload the video though.its pointless if you upload a video about a song but its not the song.|||no one song/video wont delete your account|||usually they will say if it's copyrighted by a certain group,and there may be ads atatched to your video.
